Accessibility Statement
Autentica Taqueria wants every guest to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they rely on.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is built into how this site is made rather than added on afterwards.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a single, descriptive heading structure on every page.
- A “skip to main content” link and full keyboard navigation with visible focus rings.
- Text and interface colours checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative icons hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with real labels, clear required-field markers, and error messages announced to assistive technology.
- Touch targets sized for comfortable tapping, and layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320px wide.
- Respect for the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting.
- Text that can be resized to 200% without loss of content or function.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never finished. We review new pages and content as they are published, and we treat any barrier a guest reports as a defect to be fixed.
